I can also call this my eff it/congratulatory glass of wine to myself since I gained another client with my firm. I'm loving it there and pretty much have the best boss ever. We both love to hate Beyonce, have a thing for labels and have a sarcastic wit that packs enough punch to throw you into next Monday. Oh and go ahead, make an AP style error. I dare you. Obviously a match.
But seriously, back to this ridiculously cold weather that doesn't allow me to have the luxury of staying at home like some people. We're not polar bears and as much as I love sweater dresses with comfy knit tights, my spring dresses are begging to come out of the closet. I mean seriously, I feel like they've waited longer than Ricky Martin has.
This shit is not normal!!!
One good thing that has come out of this ridiculous weather though is that it's forced me to stay in and get a lot of wedding planning done. The invites are almost ready to ship out and yes, I'm freaking out a bit (in a good way). I also have two bridal showers to be all giddy and excited about as well that are coming up in March. However, I'm not looking forward to wearing white dresses considering how I know I'll most likely get something on them throughout the day. It's pretty much a given. This is also why I tend to stick with white wine. My sister has been great with helping me plan the wedding though. Between work, going to meetings, going to the gym and having date night time, things can get really stressful. Just three more months, and this wedding binder and setup will be long gone! Eek! Anyone have some extra Xanax just laying around? Maybe I should call Justin Bieber before we FedEx him back to Canada.
Congratulations on your pending wedding! I'm planning my own right now. And I think I'll forgive that you can't accept that Beyoncé is queen. It's probably just the ridiculously low temperatures getting to your head. ;P
ReplyDeleteMaybe it is! I do feel a little woozy. ;)
DeleteFuck all of that! It was like 29 degrees in Florida yesterday and I thought I was going have to go all Donner Party on my boyfriend.
ReplyDeleteOh, and congrats on all the planning and please keep the wedding posts coming. I'm beginning to plan my own, and I'm looking for heroes.
29 degrees in FLORIDA? Can we just call it the apocalypse already? Also, if you're looking for heroes, just call me Superwoman. I'm determined to survive and conquer!!!
