Hooray For Hump Day Confessions!

So holy crap, it's three weeks before the wedding and it's hump day confessions time with Kathy. Ready....set... let's GOOOOO.

+ I confess that I go nuts over people not RSVPing on time so then I have to spend MY time contacting them about it. I only have a million other things to do before these three measly weeks fly by me faster than I can go through a bottle of Riesling.

+I confess that if I ever hear JLo's "I Luh Ya Papi" single one more time someone or something will get hurt. It's right on up there with nails on chalkboard, getting hit in the boob and the Kardashian clan. I just can't handle it. Why can't she just say LOVE?! "LUH" is NOT a real word, JLo, not even in Spanish or any other language. You can't just start inventing words even though you're in your 40s and still hotter than I am. Eff you JLo...

+ I confess that I simply can't handle laziness. There's nothing worse than someone not pulling their own weight and that goes for both personally and professionally. I mean really, stop being an asshat and be responsible.

+ I confess that contrary to JLo's sorry excuse of a song, Lana Del Rey debuted her new single "West Coast" and I about died from excitement. It's amazing. Summer jam, check.

+ I confess that I secretly want to make the seating chart myself so people can't come to me and cherry pick who sits next to who. Really people? You can't handle sitting next to a certain someone for half an hour or so while you eat? Deal with it!! I'm not going to play musical chairs with people just because you can't suck it up. If you choose to not act like an adult, then I'm switching your plate to the children's menu option AND you get to sit next to the people you didn't want to sit by.

+ I confess that I didn't fall off of the fitness wagon, I more so hurled myself off of it. As of the past couple of weeks, I've been so busy trying to meet up with people regarding the wedding, my gym closes before I can get my ass to a class. It's the homestretch until the big wedding day  and I'm pulling this shit? It's alright, I haven't noticed any unsightly bulges anywhere...

+ I confess that I was a Ms. Bitchy Pants to Josh and I felt really bad about it....but really...

Also, no you aren't going crazy. My little bloggy blog has a new design! What do you all think? Shout out to one of my besties Danielle who helped me with it! What are you confessing to today?! Also, I'm linking up with Fitness Blondie! Check her out! She's kind of the best.

  1. love the new look and that last image re: PMS - SO true. the other day i got irrationally angry at my husband for something i can't even remember what it was about and after a few hours, he sauntered up to me and asked if i was ok to which i cheerily replied "yes! why, is something the matter?". the WTF look on his face was priceless.

    thanks for linking up!

  3. I always procrastinate on RSVPs too! I am getting super excited for you because I noticed your countdown is only 15 days away! I do not envy the seating stress at all. It amazes me how petty people can be even on someone else's big day!!

  7. COULD NOT AGREE MORE about that JLo song. Also it sounds like she's saying "puppy" and I just can't.

  8. I haven't heard the JLo song, thank goodness. West Coast is my JAM though- love her! Good luck with the rest of your wedding planning!

  9. Ugh, it drives me NUTS when people can't RSVP on time. It isn't that hard!! I just don't get it...
J.Lo needs to stop being on tv and needs to stop making really bad music. Can't she just go away somewhere and never come back?
And that Lana Del Ray song is really good, but couldn't they find a better looking guy for the video?? YUCK!

  10. I hate people that don't pull their weight. When I taught I had an aide that told me she NEVER works the last day of school. I said this year you will because I am NOT closing out the classroom on my own. Not RSVPing makes me want to just punch them in the face.

  11. YES West Coast!! Great song! And also cosign on the lazy people. No time for them.

  12. People can be so inconsiderate, I hate when people don't RSVP appropriately! Also, it is your wedding they will sit where you tell them to sit. I'm also a firm believer that they should wear what they are told to wear (ie bridesmaids). I hate being in wedding with others who just make it more stressful.

  16. Ugh, laziness drives me crazy, too. Especially in a professional setting. I get the rage waiting for people to do their jobs so I can do mine.

  17. RSVPs (or lack of) made me insane when I was planning our wedding. How freaking hard is it? I am super spastic about them now; I put that shit in the mail the next day! Chances are, you know if you are going or not long before the invitation comes!

  18. No one seems to RSVP anymore. It's why when we had my daughter's birthday, I only invited close friends--people who I know understand manners. I knew if I tried to invite the entire class, people would just show up when they hadn't RSVPed and it would have just pissed me off.

  19. don't get me started on laziness, it instantly makes me so so angry

  20. Laziness is the absolute worst when it comes to having to work with other people. At least if you're going to be lazy, just admit it to the rest of us and don't say you'll do something and not follow through. I will punch you in your reproductive parts. ARggh!

  21. I like the new look!
I love being lazy at home but only after what needs to be done has been done... otherwise I can't relax!

  22. Non RSVPers are the worst but somehow, they magically seem to line up with the number of people who can't come at the last minute - so try not to stress too much. Assigned seating was the worst thing about planning my wedding - I didn't realize that behind those cute escort cards laid a world filled with drama! I feel your pain but at least it's almost over and it will all be worth it!

  23. I really don't understand why people don't RSVP. It takes two seconds!

  24. Oh wedding RSVPs are so important. I think people who have had weddings understand this! I hope! It is really serious business! Hope those people start getting it together! :) Laziness drives me crazy too! That's why I'm so hard on myself on these pregnant days where I'm too tired to do much. Whenever I DO push myself, I get even more run down! I'm learning to understand people who have always had less energy than me (like my husband). Hopefully I'm back to my hummingbird self after the baby! Yeah, right!

  25. Can I just tell you how much I love you for this post? Honestly, is it that damn hard to RSVP to something? Some people are so inconsiderate. AND I love JLO. Seriously love it. But her stupid ass new song drives me crazy. It is SO just stupid. There is so much talent in the world and that kind of song gets radio time? HASHTAG NOT COOL.

    xoxo

  26. Your blog design is super cute!! And I totally feel your pain about wedding RSVPs. This drove me up the wall when we were planning ours. It's absolutely so rude of people to not send their RSVPs, and following up with them in person is so time consuming and annoying. But we were SO careful to follow up with each and every person, and even then people didn't show who had said yes, and others showed up who had said no. What is wrong with people?! Anyway have fun during these last few weeks of wedding planning, you're getting close now!
