Confessions & Bad Sushi

Holy sweet baby Jesus it's time to confess with Kathy again? Where in the world is time going? Can someone tell me? Because life is getting a little too crazy...on with these confessions already!

I confess that I may or may not have lied about having bad sushi to get out of something and ended up on a high note that definitely did not end up like a bad round of sushi. (You're confused I know...reference to Friday.) Carry on.

I confess that I'm married and I still live with my parents...and if I didn't have such an amazing support system, I probably would have jumped off the Sears Tower (refuse to call it the Willis Tower) about a week ago....oh wait...or I could just wait around for the Skydeck to crack again.

I confess that I may or may not have wanted to shove my heel up my neighbor's ass when he said, "oh I thought you would have moved out by now." Dude....any last words before I punch you in the throat? Not cool...

I confess that the best way to calm yourself is to take deep breaths and have girl time at the beach.

And puppy love time. Because how can you be mad at this?

I confess that oops I did it again....

I may or may not have had to get this dress because it was 50% off...damn you New York & Co. Work wear win!

I confess that I never get sick of my hubby dressing like this. I don't even know. Paparazzied. At least he's sans crocs this time.

What are you confessing to today?! Has anyone else had a time when they had "bad sushi" or told a white lie to get out of something? Let's hear it!!

  10. OOo I like that dress! I have nowhere fancy enough to wear it, haha. My work is jeans all the way. Bad sushi is an excellent excuse, storing that away. Wait, I'm vegan so I guess it would have to be bad tofu or something.

  12. Isn't it funny how you just don't care what they wear when you love em to death? I miss that!! I have feigned upset stomach too many times to count. I always dare anyone to ask for details lol

  13. Rude!! Your neighbor needs to mind his own business! I get stressed out about lying, I always feel like Karma is going to get me and I'm actually going to get food poisoning. Usually, I just say I need a mental health day...but my boss does not care.

  14. I love that dress! And it's none of your neighbors business when you move it. Where you live doesn't hurt him.

  17. youre lucky that you can stand living with your parents.. my only goal for myself after graduating college was "don't move home" and so far so good! does the Mr live there with you?

  18. oh man, if I lived by the beach I don't ever think I would leave! And if I could live with my parents, I still would. Cheap as balls and saving money?! Sounds like a win to me.

  19. EWWW to what your neighbor said!! I would have been like uhhh back up bro! I still live at home with my mama and my sister..NO SHAME! I think the old man next door has a crush on me though, sometimes he said some weird shit. He may be more upset than my mom when I finally leave...HA!

  20. I love that dress! Yes, beach time is the best. Sometimes we need a little extra time at the 'rents house, no shame in that....unless you are like 40 and still at home for no good reason.

  21. I may have used the "I have a migraine" excuse to get out of various things... karma tends not to like it though, because more than 50% of the time I've used that excuse I've ended up with an actual migraine. Boo! I used the dodgy stomach excuse all the time as a kid, but never made it sound as interesting as bad sushi! (I wasn't that adventurous food-wise back then :) )
