Confessing On Hump Day!

It's go time, people! It's the final countdown until the wedding and I have quite a few confessions to make via Kathy's amaze-balls link-up!

Josh and I even picked up our wedding bands! Shit just got real...I know it's bad luck...but I'm SO tempted to just start wearing that shiny wedding band on my finger! I've waited long enough for it! I want to blind people with its awesomeness. Okay I'm done, now onto confessions!!!

* I confess that I think it's ridiculous that we celebrate Easter by eating chocolate bunnies and hiding eggs for kids to find. I just don't understand.

 * I also confess that I will use any excuse to eat ridiculous amounts of chocolate in any form including that of a bunny. Oh and celebrate with Mimosas.

* I just can't handle listening to trainers who are visibly more out-of-shape than I am...like...why should I listen to you? You can't even get your own shit together.

* I confess that I can't flippin' stand cars who have their whole family tree on their car....REALLY PEOPLE?

* I confess that I still talk on the phone without a hands-free device even though it's now illegal in Chicago. Now I have to be even more distracted for a prolonged period of time while I connect my hands-free device thing as my phone rings...and then...end up missing an important call...

 * I confess that I completely zone out when people start bringing up kids. Yay for selective hearing. It works for many situations. Yes, I do want a family...however when that will be, will be up to Josh and me. You know, the two people in charge of that whole situation.

* I confess that I love all of my bloggy blog friends and I'm trying really hard to keep up with my reading, but my life is consumed of all things wedding right now. Seating charts, wedding favors, finalized schedules for the wedding day, final payments, wedding prep (eyebrow threading, teeth whiting, hair trimming etc..) It's freaking hard to be a woman sometimes...

Make sure to link up with my girl Liz at Fitness Blondie as well! Happy hump day!!!

  5. but for reals.... i just got my personal training certification and that is my main motivation to not get out of shape. i would never want to listen to someone that is out of shape, so i can't be out of shape myself when i start training people

  8. I always make comments about the stupid stick families on cars when they do something that pisses me off. Like if they cut me off and go slow I say something like "I hoe your family has a horrible dinner." Or something along the lines of, "It's amazing that you were able to figure out how to have three kids and two dogs?! Really?"

Give me all the choclately things!

  9. Ughhhh the stick families!!!! The ones that annoy me the most are the zombie stick families. It's like they scream "WE'RE A COOL FAMILY OUR MOM IS INTO ZOMBIES NOBODY ELSE IS COOL LIKE US HAHA HAHA HAHAHA" Get over it!!! Those and the Disney ones, where the sticks are wearing mickey ears, because you just know they cost 5 times as much as the regular ones.

  12. I really DO NOT see the point in Easter eggs and bunnies etc. How did that tradition even start? I mean, I'm happy to eat the chocolate, but where did it come from?! I've never done the whole Easter egg hunt thing, I was always just given mine. I know a lot of people do it though.

  14. Your confession about the trainer made me laugh because it's so true. I don't mind hearing some stories about kids, but don't like when people can't talk about anything else!

  15. I have to admit I have 3 kids and I don't care to hear about anyone elses. Sorry... I just like mine, and maybe my nephews... in small doses.

  16. Thank you for confession #1! I dont get it either! What's a bunny who apparently 'lays' and gives out chocolate eggs have to do with anything? And giant bunnies are what nightmares are made of!

  17. Ha-ha We've been hands-free for a few years now but I still don't have any car system for it!

  18. Yes! Stick families are so annoying unless it's something like princess silhouettes or out of the norm then I'm like at least they're unique! It depends on who is talking about kids but for the most part that's a no. Seating charts? No bueno, but yay for the rings!!

  26. I gotta say "Shit just got real" is the perfect phrase for so many different situations. :)

And the car stick figures crap - I once saw someone's old beater p.o.s. car all covered in dirt and someone had drawn in a fake stick figure family on the back window. I laughed so hard I almost peed.

Good luck on all the wedding prep. I loved my wedding, but planning it was awful.
